3 EUROPEAN COUNTRIES ENHANCE THE IMPORTANCE OF JUDO VALUES IN VARIOUS EVENTS

In Portugal, Croatia and Slovenia we will promote ethical and healthy values, through Judo from September 23rd to October 1st 2023 – European week of sport. The events calendar is ready. Read more about Events in your country and join us!

Through Judo, we will bring Peace and Ethics to everyone, providing workshops, classes and lectures and even a Mega Class – Champions for Life – that will bring together hundreds of children, to together carry out exercises on each ethical value: Sport and Moral Values, hand in hand to build a healthier and more conscious society.

An event for judokas and non-judokas, but with a focus on Sport for Life! In parallel, we will also launch an E-Learning course, in collaboration with the European Judo Union, for Coaches, Parents and Education and Health Agents.

WHAT IS EUROPEAN WEEK OF JUDO VALUES ABOUT?

The general objective of EWJV, a non-profit European Local Event is to promote ethical and healthy values through the practice of Judo, which is in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ Program

• Common values, civic involvement and participation;

• Encouraging healthy lifestyles for all.

OUR LONG-TERM LEGACY

1. DEVELOP A LEGACY OF GOOD PRACTICES FOR A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CHOICE, WITH VALUES AND MORE SUSTAINABILTY
2. TO PROVIDE TOOLS TO EDUCATORS, COACHES AND AGENTS, WHICH WILL HELP TO DEVELOP NEW APPROACHES TO THE VALUES OF JUDO IN TRAINING, IN PARALLEL WITH SCHOOL AND THE DAY-TO-DAY LIFE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE.
3. RAISE AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE’S PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITY, AS A CATALYST FOR A RESPONSIBLE SOCIETY WITH MUTUAL BENEFIT.
4. WE WANT A GREATER UNDERSTANDING OF JUDO, AS A SPORT AND WHAT IT CAN PROVIDE ITS PRACTITIONERS AND SUPPORTERS, BECAUSE IT GOES BEYOND THE PHYSICAL PART AND COMPETITION.
