Report on diagnosis and benchmarking of Values of
Sport/Judo programmes and initiatives
Main point from each relevant source was implementation and transition of sport, health, civic and judo values in particular. Methodology of reviewed articles was mainly survey and interviews with target groups. Judo research is mainly published in journals covering martial arts and sport educational topics. Judo values are highly assessed and accepted throughout civil and sportsmen. A lot of research was made mainly in schools and with students which all have positive feedback of healthy and judo values. As a conclusion, we can say that judo has a great influence on the development of moral values, respect for oneself and others, and the promotion of these values in the community, even though it is an individual sport. This open-source toolkit “Ethical and Healthy Values in Judo” is created by professionals and includes three booklets – for coaches, for parents and for educational and health agents. We are promoting ethical and healthy values through the practice of Judo to emphasize a potential Judo has as an educational tool.

Judo Coaches, Parents and Educational and Health Agents are the main stakeholders of the community of educational Judo, and, for this reason, the Program was made with three possible specific contents aim to this population.
Let’s share the Program goals:
To provide you with valid information and toolkit to help understand Why Judo is More – Than Sport! Why it is such an important practice to contribute for a moral and healthy development of children all around Europe.
To bring together the main stakeholders of the community of educational Judo under a platform and network all around Europe.
The toolkit it’s composed of pedagogical and promotional digital content about the Judo Values, that can support the activities of the main stakeholder of the community of educational Judo, Coaches, Parents and Educational and Health Agents. On the list of available tools, you will find Judo Values Posters, Judo Values Calendars, Judo Values Gaming, Judo Values Videos examples\-
tutorials and Judo Values Diplomas.
All these different tools will be of big support for all users since they are specifically made for each stakeholder.
